Hadith 28.2

The Book of Ghusl and Tayammum

ENGLISH

It was narrated that Sulaiman bin Yasar said:

"Ali bin Abi Talib sent Al-Miqdad to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to ask him about a man who notices Madhi. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Let him wash his penis then perform Wudu'.'"

ARABIC

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ أَرْسَلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - رضى الله عنه - الْمِقْدَادَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَجِدُ الْمَذْىَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

‏ يَغْسِلُ ذَكَرَهُ ثُمَّ لْيَتَوَضَّأْ ‏
