Hadith 44
The Book of Zakah
ENGLISH
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"The measure (to be used) is the measure of the people of Al-Madinah, and the weight (to be used) is the weight of the people of Makkah."
ARABIC
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
الْمِكْيَالُ مِكْيَالُ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَالْوَزْنُ وَزْنُ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ
