The Book of Fighting [The Prohibition of Bloodshed]

ENGLISH

It was narrated from Jarir that:

The Prophet (ﷺ) [ﷺ] said: "If a slave runs away to the land of Shirk, it becomes permissible to shed his blood."

ARABIC

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَاسِمٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ‏{‏ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، ‏}‏ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

‏ إِذَا أَبَقَ الْعَبْدُ إِلَى أَرْضِ الشِّرْكِ فَقَدْ حَلَّ دَمُهُ ‏
