Hadith 28
The Book of Drinks
ENGLISH
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] forbade Al-Hantam. I (the narrator) said: "What is Al-Hantam?" He said: "The earthenware jar."
ARABIC
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْحَنْتَمِ قُلْتُ مَا الْحَنْتَمُ قَالَ الْجَرُّ .
