The Book of Drinks

ENGLISH

It was narrated from Jabir that:

The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] forbade Ad-Dubba' (gourds), An-Naqir, earthenware jars, and Al-Muzaffat.

ARABIC

أَخْبَرَنَا سَوَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْجَرِّ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ ‏.‏
