Hadith 48

The Book of Drinks

ENGLISH

It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah, from his father, that:

The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] forbade Ad-Dubba', Al-Hantam, An-Naqir, and Al-Muzaffat.

ARABIC

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ ‏.‏ خَالَفَهُ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ‏.‏
