Hadith 90
The Book of Purification and its Sunnah
ENGLISH
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "the earth has been made for me a place of worship and a means of purification."
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَرَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
جُعِلَتْ لِيَ الأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا
