Hadith 150
Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
It was narrated from ‘Ubadah bin Samit that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“There will be leaders who will be distracted by matters and they will delay the prayer until after its proper time. So make your prayer with them voluntary.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ أَبِي أُبَىٍّ ابْنِ امْرَأَةِ، عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ يَعْنِي عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ تَشْغَلُهُمْ أَشْيَاءُ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلاَةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا فَاجْعَلُوا صَلاَتَكُمْ مَعَهُمْ تَطَوُّعًا
