The Chapters on Rulings
ENGLISH
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“No one of you should refuse to let his neighbor fix a piece of wood to his wall.”
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
لاَ يَمْنَعْ أَحَدُكُمْ جَارَهُ أَنْ يَضَعَ خَشَبَةً عَلَى جِدَارِهِ
