What Rasoolullah Would Eat with Bread
Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) said that he saw Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) perform the minor ritual ablution because of eating cottage cheese. Then he saw him eat from the flank of a sheep, and then perform the ritual prayer without performing the minor ritual ablution.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، تَوَضَّأَ مِنْ أَكْلِ ثَوْرِ أَقِطٍ، ثُمَّ رَآهُ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ.
