The Humbleness Of Sayyidina Rasoolullah

ENGLISH

Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) said:

that there was no person dearer to them than Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ). He said: "Nevertheless, when they saw him they would refrain from standing, because they knew how he abhorred having people rise for him.”

ARABIC

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ لَمْ يَكُنْ شَخْصٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ‏:‏ وَكَانُوا إِذَا رَأَوْهُ لَمْ يَقُومُوا، لِمَا يَعْلَمُونَ مِنْ كَرَاهَتِهِ لِذَلِكَ‏.‏
