Hadith 11
The Book of Prayer
ENGLISH
Narrated Zaid bin Arqam (RA):
The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed the 'Eid prayer (on a Friday); and granted a permission (to be excused) from the praying of Friday prayer and said, "Whoever wants to pray it, he may pray." [Reported by al-Khamsah excluding at-Tirmidhi. Ibn Khuzaimah graded it Sahih (authentic)].
ARABIC
وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -اَلْعِيدَ, ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ, فَقَالَ:
مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَلْيُصَلِّ
