Business Transactions

Narrated Jabir (RA):
We used to sell our slave-women who had borne (our) children while the Prophet (ﷺ) was still living, and he saw no harm in that. [Reported by an-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and ad-Daraqutni. Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].
ARABIC
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كُنَّا نَبِيعُ سَرَارِيَنَا, أُمَّهَاتِ اَلْأَوْلَادِ, وَالنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -حَيٌّ, لَا نَرَى [1] بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا } رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ, وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَاَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ [2] .
