Hadith 1
Marriage
Narrated Jabir (RA):
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "When one of you proposes (marriage) to a woman, if he is able to look at what will induce him to marry her, he should do so." [Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud. Its narrators are Thiqa (reliable) and al-Hakim declared it to be Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا خَطَبَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَرْأَةَ , فَإِنْ اِسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ مِنْهَا مَا يَدْعُوهُ إِلَى نِكَاحِهَا , فَلْيَفْعَلْ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ , وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ [1] .
