Mu’adh Ibn Jabal (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“A man does nothing to rescue himself from Allah’s punishment better than remembering Allah.” Related by Ibn Abi Shaibah and At-Tabarani with a good chain of narrators.
ARABIC
وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَا عَمِلَ ابْنُ آدَمَ عَمَلاً أَنْجَى لَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اَللَّهِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اَللَّهِ } أَخْرَجَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ, وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادٍ حَسَنٍ . [1] .
