Hadith 5
The Book of Musaqah
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
When a inan becomes insolvent, and the other person (seller) finds his goods intact with him, he is more entitled to get them than anyone else.
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، وَحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، الْخُزَاعِيُّ - قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ - أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ خُثَيْمِ بْنِ عِرَاكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
إِذَا أَفْلَسَ الرَّجُلُ فَوَجَدَ الرَّجُلُ عِنْدَهُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِعَيْنِهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا
