Hadith 9
The Book of Jihad and Expeditions
It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah (ﷺ), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said:
They are from them.
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ، بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الذَّرَارِيِّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يُبَيَّتُونَ فَيُصِيبُونَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ وَذَرَارِيِّهِمْ . فَقَالَ
هُمْ مِنْهُمْ
