Hadith 17
The Book of Clothes and Adornment

'Ali b. Abu Talib reported that he (Allah'. s Messenger) forbade or forbade me. the rest of the hadith is the same.
ARABIC
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
