The Book of the Merits of the Companions

'A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to her:
Gabriel offered you greetings and I said: So there should be peace and mercy of Allah upon him.
ARABIC
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، وَيَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّاءَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَهَا
إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ
