The Book of Knowledge
ENGLISH
Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Ruined, were those who indulged in hair-splitting. He (the Prophet) repeated this thrice.
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ، جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ الأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
هَلَكَ الْمُتَنَطِّعُونَ
