Musnad of 'Abdullah bin al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib from the Prophet
ENGLISH
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
When the prohibition on alcohol was revealed, they said: O Messenger of Allah, what about those who have died and who used to drink alcohol? Then the verse was revealed: "Those who believe and do righteous good deeds, there is no sin on them for what they ate (in the past)..." (al-Ma’idah 5:93).
