The Rites of Pilgrimage

ENGLISH

He said that he heard God’s messenger say, “Those who visit God are three classes:

The warrior, the one who performs the <i>hajj</i>, and the one who performs the <i>‘umra</i>.” Nasa’i and Baihaqi, in <i>Shu'ab al-iman</i>, transmitted it.

ARABIC

وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «وَفْدُ اللَّهِ ثَلَاثَةٌ الْغَازِي وَالْحَاجُّ وَالْمُعْتَمِرُ» . رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيمَان
